Top 10 Baby Registry Must-Haves

Image
With the due date of our third baby rapidly approaching (less than 5 weeks!) I have been nesting and getting our home ready for her arrival. After having two boys, we are being blessed with a baby girl, due November 21st, 2020. This past weekend we were graciously thrown a "sprinkle" to celebrate her arrival. It was small and intimate but beautiful and thoughtful nonetheless. I did enjoy making a registry for a few items we thought we needed, but this being the third time around, we were just as happy to receive little girly trinkets, clothes, and so on. We mostly just wanted a registry so that we could receive a discount on items to buy ourselves on the registry (Target and Amazon both offer this!), but we were thrilled to receive items from our guests from it as well. With the thousands of baby items out there, I thought it would be handy to give our top ten must-haves, some on our wishlist (some that we got!), and a few things to not add to your registry.  1. Morning Rhythms

Oliver and Charlie I've never been a big fan of "schedules" or "routines", even before kids. While sometimes it is nice to have a general "To-Do" list, I dread the idea of having to stick to a rigid regiment to get things done. I find I do much better either doing things as I go or just having a To-Do list to follow that I plan on getting done during the day/week. This has not changed since becoming a stay at home mom to my two kids (aged almost 3, Oliver, and 15 months, Charlie), plus watching another baby girl (10 months), PLUS being pregnant with our third. When I was first introduced to the concept of "Rhythms" I found that I could finally put my effective list following to use, without feeling guilty about "when" or sometimes "if" things are getting done.  First and foremost, we do not use an alarm clock to start our mornings. I know some people love having some quiet time to themselves for self-care or reflection bef
