Welcome, Professional Parents!

Hello, I'm Emily, and I would consider myself a professional parent. You may be wondering what exactly a professional parent is---I wondered the same thing myself when I became a stay-at-home-mom to my two boys, Oliver (2) and Charlie (6 months)
The Merriam-Webster Dictionary defines professional as follows:

"One that is professional. Especially one that engages in a pursuit or activity professionally"

So what makes me a professional? To answer simply, being a mom and wanting to help my children grow up well by expanding my own knowledge and creativity. And you are a professional too, just because you are searching for new activity ideas, knowledge, and help from this blog.

It is my wish that this blog inspires you to try new things with your children, gives you ideas to inspire your own parenthood journey, and helps simplify "the hardest job in the world".

*Disclaimer: I do not have a degree in medicine, childhood education, or teaching. I just have a curiosity and passion for learning that has led me to research and soak up knowledge from mentors- both professional and otherwise.
